Worships and Initiation: Daily worships as per the scheduled time-table are performed. Weekly Sat-sanga and Rama-Nama Samkirtana once in a month or in special occasions after the vesper services are performed. RRKS make necessary arrangements for the Mantra Diksha to spiritual seekers & devotees who become blessed with the initiation by Revered Maharajas of the Ramakrishna Belur Math. (Because of our space problem the venue is arranged in another Math premises.) Pujas and Celebrations are held on the- Foundation -day of Rasulpur Ramakrishna Sevashram, the Birth-Tithis of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Sri Sri Ma Sarada Devi- and on the Birth-Day of Swamiji. Yuba-Sammelan, Independence Day, Republic Day are also observed in a befitting manner. Service to the humanity: *Blood donation camps are organized by RRKS in collaboration with the Burdwan Medical College & Hospital Blood Bank. *RRKS caters Oxygen Cylinders on call from the patient- party at a nominal cost on 24x7days. *The eye -camps are organized in the sevashram premises on last Sundays of each month and cataract- patients are taken to a hospital for operation free of cost. (Because of our space problem it is arranged in a Hospital located at Dankuni, about 100 km away from the Sevashram) * RRKS used to provide Ambulance services at a nominal cost. The service has been suspended because of the age old condition of the vehicle. We appeal to business organizations to donate an Ambulance so that we resume this humanitarian service for the cause of poor ailing people. *RRKS relief operations are carried out during natural calamities and endemic period with food packets, drinking water and medicines as the situations demand. * Independence Day and Republic Day are celebrated by hoisting National Flag and distribution of food packets consists of health-drinks, fruits and sweets to the patients in the nearby hospital and to the poor people. * RRKS distribute clothes, blankets, mosquito nets to needy thrice a year. * RRKS arouses consciousness on environment through Seminars and also by distribution of saplings to green lovers at least thrice a year. Multifarious programs for grooming students’ career development It is imperative to water a sapling and to put a fencing around it to protect from the damaging agents. Likewise caring of children demand also. Grooming to the students are done for becoming a good human being as well as their personality development free of cost and also their parents/guardians are counselled by the professionals from the industry and academic institutions. The meritorious students are awarded with scholarship by cheque and books with the help of Bangiya Vibekananada Yuba Jagaran Shibir. And children participate in All Bengal Talent Search Examination organized by National Health & Education Research Council. •Only donations made in cash, cheque, bank transfer, online transfer are eligible for deductions. Donations made in kind, in the form of food, clothing, medicines etc. are not eligible for exemption. •We request you to consult your income-tax advisor in this respect.
